Getting closer and closer to the big night

Finally I arrived to the studio. Because of the two manifestations’ block outs the city was in a bit mess with the closed roads and, not working bus and trams. It can be exhausting sometimes which I was totally, by the way, but when I got to the studio music was all around me. How can I resist that?!

Today’s afternoon was mainly focused the next day’s program and on the back vocals who are Maria Gabriella Marino, Gaia Ligas and Massimiliano Lombardi. While we were waiting for Gabin Dabire, Sekou Diabate and Jaek Tama, Gaia and Massimiliano gave me a little concert. He, on the piano and she next to him, singing together cheered me up. I consider myself as a good listener, and I liked them a lot.

When the expected ones arrived, the hits songs of the concert started to play for the back vocals to practice on. Matteo from the Tracce Sonore being behind the glass on the control panels, Jaek Tama was with the Gabriella, Gaia and Massimiliano to work on ‘Pata Pata’ and ‘Terra’ songs. To see how they regulate their voices, matching them together, mixing with computer, closing their eyes and letting themselves free with a little anxiety, was a good moment to witness.

Tomorrow is a big day and everybody is very excited. We will be in the Auditorium at 15:00 starting with Ray Lema Trio’s rehearsal before the concert.
